Q. Do you think that changing jobs often is beneficial for workers?

Although it is not acceptable in Japan to change jobs often, I believe there are many benefits for workers in doing so.
To support my opinion, I would like to discuss workers’ motivation to work first. If workers have to stay in their current workplaces and commit to the same tasks constantly, their job performance becomes inefficient. I have seen so many workers who complain about their working environment but do not do anything about it and instead continue to work. As a result, the number of passive workers increases and they are not able to stimulate the economy.
Also, workers can get a variety of skills by experiencing a large number of different types of occupations. Changing jobs would have positive effects on their careers in the future. Therefore, I assert that changing jobs has beneficial aspects for workers.
